BCD Audio were approached to design and build cue light drivers for some new Radio studios in 2023.
The requirement was to interface the five GPIO outlets of the Telos Axia Xnode units to the Yellowtec Mika and Cue lights.
Two Axia Breakout 1U products were designed.
The Microphone version loops five mic channels on 3pin XLR to matching 5pin XLRs with added red/green Cue light signals. These are driven from two D15 GPIO connectors in Axia Xnode format. The 5pin XLRs directly connect to the Yellowtec MIka boom arms for cue light and microphone feeds.
The Cue light version has a single Xnode D15 GPIO connector and buffers to five identical RJ45 outlets in Yellowtec Cue light format for Red light, Telephone and On air signalling.
BCD Audio are happy to produce more units, subject to an MOQ.
