Radio Webcast overview

The BCD Radio Webcast units are used for automatically controlling cameras used within a radio studio. The resulting output feed could be used to stream the content to the web or other broadcast medium.

Whenever a presenter or guest speaks, the camera that is directed at them will automatically be selected. This will hold for a minimum of 3 seconds before moving to another camera (in practice this has proved to be the best time delay). If one camera is on for too long a period the unit will automatically trigger the wideshot camera for 3 seconds.

A manual override control box is also available allowing the user to select any specific camera during the broadcast.
