NETMIX

The Netmix system is BCD’s custom DSP audio mixer and processor solution. By integrating into either Installer-12 or Installer-48 racks access is gained to existing digital audio busses allowing dynamic signal manipulation. Manipulations include level, pan, EQ & signal dynamics with separate compression & limiting. The DSP card is controlled by remote panels.

Although the Netmix is strictly speaking a Eurocard product, we’re so pleased with it we’re showing you some of the custom control panels we’ve made for existing customers. We could make some for you too!

Existing applications include a 3 group stereo compressor/limiter with voice-over ducking capability. The units pictured are installed at BBC Radio and are designed to complement the look of both DHD mixers & ‘Calrec’ style compressor/limiters with which the operators were already familiar.

World Service users get the full complement of individually switchable V/O, Compression & Limiting controls, while Radio 2 users get the simplified (but 4 group) version, featuring Voice-over ducking of ‘None, Some, or Lots!’
