Delayed Programme Comparator

The BCD Delayed Programme Comparator compares two AES-3 input audio streams, automatically calculating and compensating for any delay present and raises an alarm in the event of audio content mismatch. The unit was designed as a received ‘off-air’ audio confidence check using ‘network’ audio as a reference with automatic transmission path delay compensation.
